Dusk at Splash Fountain, Boston
This is an evening shot of Splash Fountain at Christian Science Plaza in Boston. This fountain design allows 180 water jets to shoot directly out of the ground and is (obviously) illuminated at night. The plaza itself was designed by renowned architect I.M. Pei.
Boston Skyline at Dusk
Taken on the Boston Harborwalk near Moakley Courthouse. The light was stunning that evening, and I couldn’t take photos fast enough. I felt like I was taking photos while inside a jewel box, and my photo here barely begins to capture that feeling.

Freighter Anchored in Elliott Bay, Seattle
I’ve been biking by these freighters a lot lately and wanted to catch the sort of stillness they emanate as they sit anchored in Elliott Bay. Again, I processed this as HDR and then used a mild “Orton” effect in Photoshop to create that kind of glow on the freighter.
