This is probably my favorite photo from my latest foray into high-dynamic range (HDR) photography.

Taken on the rough and wild Washington coast in Olympic National Park at Ruby Beach, I think it captures that sort of other-worldly, almost prehistoric feel to the place. When you are here (or in La Push or in other coastal areas of Olympic National Park), you really feel like you’ve gone back in time.
